Elizabeth : What’s wrong with our society? Did I tell you I’ve been baking cookies and sharing them with my co-workers ?

Elizabeth: I usually put them in the cafeteria along with a deposit box asking for NT＄5 per cookie. I don’t want to make money-just to recover my costs.

Elizabeth : Imagine my surprise when I found the deposit box missing today!

Richard: That’s terrible! This reminds me of the news last week about the thief in Belgium who stole from a church donation box.

理查：真是糟糕！這讓我想起上週一個新聞，比利時有個小偷偷教堂的捐獻箱。

Elizabeth : That’s worse! What happened to him?

伊莉莎白：這更慘！結果他怎麼了？

Richard: Authorities caught him red-handed, and are seeking a 9-month prison term. Crime truly doesn’t pay!

理查：有關單位當抓到他，並要求讓他吃九個月的牢飯，犯罪事划不來的！
